Cause and Effect

Author's Note: This is The Hunger Games transformed in my cause and effect piece.

In the Hunger games at the end of the book Katniss a girl who volunteered to be a tribute for her sister pulled out some death berries when the gamemakers changed the rule for if there could be two victors. Katniss wanted to show them that they didn’t own them so when she pulled out the berries the government took it as an insult. After she did this Katniss was forced to love Peeta and be with him for the rest of their lives. The story would be a lot different if Katniss didn’t pull out those berries and took out Peeta and she could be free for the rest of her life or she could have let either the gamemakers kill her or Peeta but most likely not Peeta because he loves her.

  1. DON'T FORGET YOUR AUTHOR'S NOTE!!!!!!!
I like how you talked about what happened in the end of the book, but maybe you should give a little more detail to help the reader understand what happened and you should also give a little prediction on what you think will happen in the next book. Also, I would go back and change this a little because a lot of your sentences didn't flow smoothly and it was hard for me to understand!!! Otherwise, good job!!!!

  2. As Alison said, you need an Author's Note!:) but you described the book well, but you could have had more sentence fluency. Most of your sentences tended to be longer. Also, tell more about who Peeta is and why Katniss had to go into the Hunger Games in the first place.
