Christmas tree real or fake?

Authors note: People will get Christmas trees for Christmas. For my mom, we use a fake one for a few years now. With my dad, he gets a real one every year. I'm not sure witch is better.

Well, I don’t really get why people would ask this sort of thing but this isn’t a question that makes sense. For me I have a fake tree set up in my house that is very skinny. I wish I had a real tree but my mom is pretty cheap for decorations.

Boys vs. Girls

 Authors note: For our full lives everyone wonders who is better. Boy or girls?


I don’t really know who gets better grades but I would ask a person who could do that math and see. For me, I don’t get the best grades but they are pretty good. I also know people who have awesome grades and they freak out if they get a B. I guess, nobody can really tell, because everybody is different. For the people who are handicapped it wouldn’t be fair.

Tomatoes and Ketchup

  Authors note: For me I don't like tomatoes so I don't know anything about them really. Ketchup is my favorite topping for hotdogs but I would never blend it.        


Who here has heard of a potato being a fruit or a vegetable? Well to tell you the truth, the answer is I have no idea. Please e-mail me if you do know the answer. Thanks. Now, how about ketchup being a smoothie? For me I don’t like smoothies so I will probably never try blending ketchup.

Favorite Music

Authors note: Who can name all the different types of music? Well, for surly  I can't. My favorite music is country and pop.

          

Music has its own personality like people do. It has its own styles.Each person has their own favorite. There are many music styles like rock and roll, pop, and country. There might be more that I just can’t think of right now. My favorite music is country believe it or not. Yeah, you might think country is boring but I was born a country girl so it’s in my blood. Don’t worry people, because my second favorite type of music is pop so I’m still a human. What’s yours?

Phones?

Authors note: Students all around the world are fighting about if we should be able to use phones in school.

          

There should be phones allowed in school. Let’s say if you need to take notes you should be able to take them on your phone. There are also some apps on your phone that you can get that are educational. For some people it wouldn’t be fair to use phones in school. Some people don’t have phones or have ones that can get apps.They might have phones that aren’t as good as mine. My phone doesn’t have internet and I don’t think I can get apps on it.

Edward vs Jacob

 Authors note: There has been a war over who is bettor and/or hotter, Edward or Jacob.

The most popular teenagers in the world are Jacob Black and Edward Cullen. People all around the world are fighting for which is better and hotter. For me I think that Jacob is hotter but that Edward is nicer and more protective of Bella. Jacob will not give up Bella which is not mature of him. He can’t just take what’s not his. I see why most people like Jacob more but I see the way Edward cares for her. They are such a cute couple.   

Bras and Broomsticks

“Bras and Broomsticks”

            Authors note: This book was quite entertaining for me. The book was funny, interesting and had some parts that freaked me out.

            I have to admit the name “Bras & Broomsticks” was a very clever name. It gives the reader a sign that it is going to be a funny book. Also it sucks the reader in for finding out why it has the funny name. Another thing is that each chapter has a broomstick which is also very clever. This story has a lot of oomph to it. 

            For one thing this story really pulled me in at some parts, like when Raf asked Rachel to Spring fling, I screamed with joy like I got asked out. I felt like I was in the story with Rachel and Miri. One time I saw the guy I liked and wanted to do a love spell on him. To me this book came to life in my head, and that rarely ever happens with the books I read.

            The Author “Sarah Mlynowski” is a awesome author. Sarah also has another book called “Frogs and French Kisses”. I can’t wait to read it. Sarah Mlynowski has other books that I haven’t read any of them yet but if you read “Fireworks, “Frogs and French Kisses”, or Gimme a Call”, you would know what I mean by how good of an author she is. I haven’t even read any of the other books she made but I can tell you after this one I will.            

            There’s not one thing that I didn’t like about this book. There were no spelling errors that I noticed like you would see in most books. I don’t know much about Sarah Mlynowski but she must be famous or at least known for her awesome books. Each character has their own personality. Rachel is the main character and she has a huge story behind her. Miri has magical powers and she picks her fingers and it’s like Rachel would be a better witch than Miri. Their dad married a girl named Jennifer that Miri and Rachel don’t like at all. Their mom is trying to find a new boyfriend to take her mind off of her ex husband.

This story has it’s twists and it’s sad yet funny parts that most people would enjoy I would think. For those of who like funny stories with  emotional parts and books that pull you in. This is the story I would recommend you reading along with “Frogs and French Kisses”.

"Am I Proud of My Country"

“Am I Proud of My Country?”

Author’s Note: I believe that the U.S. is a successful country. Anybody would be lucky to live in the U.S.A.

Yes, I am very proud of my country. It is a magnificent place to be. I’m very lucky to be living in the United States of America. We are a very strong and nouble country. I don’t want to leave this country ever.

            My grandpa fought for this country and hopefully so will I. He was in control of the radio inside of the planes they flew. I don’t care what my job would be but I won’t care as long as I’m fighting for my country. My mom doesn’t like the idea but as long as I go to college she doesn’t really care. I may not know much about all of the weapons they use or how they drive those huge trucks, but it sounds like a lot of fun even though it’s dangerous.

            Our country has a good government. We have good presidents that take good care of us. Sure enough the government asks for a lot of money once in a while, but they get back on track fast enough. They make sure that if somebody gets hurt they go straight to the hospital or get help right away. We have good jobs that benefit everybody who lives here. If a bad thunder storm, hurricane, earthquake, or tornado destroys a place in the US the government makes sure that the homes there are rebuilt for the families that live there.

            If other countries like Haiti hits huge destruction and they need help, the US is the first to volunteer. The US is a helping country. If something bad happens, people all around the world ask the same question. What is the U.S.A. going to do? Now I’m not sure exactly if we would help every single country like China or Russia, also any other countries that we had or are having a war with. We are very lucky the people who live in the US because we have freedom and allow anybody into our country. It is also a good country for people to move to when people want to make a new start.

            I just love our country so very much. I’m very lucky to live here, same as anybody else who lives here. We are not a perfect county but it’s the best country in the whole entire world to me. So absolutely positively definitely, yes. I am proud of my country.

Horses, One of The U.S.A.’s Favorite Animals  

If you feel like there should be more than one National Animal for the US, you are not alone. We should be thanking the animals that helped us throut the years. Horses is a good example if you love horses like I do.

           

Ever since people started coming to the U.S.A. horses have been helping us out with traveling and moving supplies like wood, food, and water. They’ve also been loving pets, all for probably more than a hundred years or two. They’re very beautiful and kind. Some horses are known for saving lives. We used them for going to war too. People still make horse movies, so that’s got to count for something. Horses are the U.S.A.’s best friend.

Horses are amazing pets. I’ve always wanted to have a horse. So, it would be so cool that every American should have a horse or at least have the chance to if some people don’t want a horse. Though of course there wouldn’t be enough horses for everyone, so that’s never going to happen. Horses make great pets because they are very loving and they bond with their owners. They also are very hard workers.

Farmers love to have horses to help them out too. They use them to help plant things by making them pull a plow that leaves a pathway for food to be planted. Some people still ride horses around their neighborhood if allowed. Kids love to ride horses all the time and so do some adults still. Farmers like to make their horses have babies so that they can sell the babies for a lot of money.

Horses are used for entertainment. Racing and horse competitions. Horse competitions like barreling, jumping, and shows that show what tricks other peoples horses can do. Smaller people are lucky because they get to ride and race horses. By the way, they are called jockeys. There is certain types of horses that race each race. I believe that only stallions can do the racing like the Kentucky Derby. I’ve always wanted to race a horse but that’s obviously not going to happen since I'm not a miniature person. Many horses are known and famous for winning races like Secretariot.

 My point is that horses are awsome animals with their speed and kindness. They are very beautiful. It’s a shame some people treat horses badly. Horses were and are used for certain purposes like farming and horse racing. They are the animals that helped the U.S.A the most and probably the longest. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks that horses are awesome.
